In a culture increasingly defined by surveillance, artificial intelligence, and the erosion of privacy, DISINTEGRATION stands as a visual document of collapse. Created by Dereck Seltzer aka TMRWLND, this limited edition serigraph examines the moment where human identity fractures under technological pressure.
The composition is intentionally broken—figural elements splinter and reform, suggesting a body caught mid-transformation. The work draws from dystopian science fiction, cosmic horror, and media theory, echoing the unease of a world where biological life and artificial systems are no longer distinct.
Printed as an 18 × 18 inch hand-pulled serigraph on archival French Paper, DISINTEGRATION maintains a strong physical presence. The choice of a single color reinforces the starkness of the image, while the analog screen-printing process contrasts the digital themes embedded in the work.
The edition consists of 40 signed and numbered prints, with six hand-painted multiples (HPMs) uniquely embellished by the artist. These HPMs push each piece further into the realm of object and artifact—no two are alike, and each carries visible evidence of the artist’s hand.
DISINTEGRATION continues TMRWLND’s ongoing exploration of chaos, control, and the future of the body in an age of constant observation. It is both a collectible artwork and a cultural marker—documenting the psychological landscape of the present moment.
