Dereck Seltzer (b. 1985, Netherlands) is a contemporary American painter and author whose multidisciplinary work merges lo-fi aesthetics, DIY processes, and elements of commercial design. Born in the Netherlands and raised in Los Angeles, his practice is shaped by early influences from skateboarding, heavy metal, and graffiti culture. He is the founder and director of TMRWLND Studio in Detroit.
Seltzer’s paintings have graced notable exhibitions across the United States, including Thinkspace Projects in Los Angeles, Spoke Art in San Francisco, the Lancaster Museum of Art, Mortal Machine Gallery in New Orleans, Vertical Gallery in Chicago, and the PowWowWow! Festival in Hawaii.
As the Creative Director of TMRWLND Studio, he has spearheaded projects ranging from bespoke publications and coveted limited-edition releases to high-profile collaborations with industry leaders such as Hasbro Inc., Universal Studios, VICE, Warner Brothers Music, Levi's, and RocNation.
