TMRWLND presents its latest artist collaboration with Grady Gordon, a printmaker and illustrator originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico, now living and working in Portland, Oregon. Known for his darkly atmospheric monotypes and fascination with impermanence, memory, and the supernatural, Gordon’s work exists in the space between the living and the spectral—where presence and absence collide.
For Halloween 2025, TMRWLND and Gordon have joined forces to create a limited-edition, glow-in-the-dark skateboard deck that pays homage to one of skateboarding’s most controversial and mythic designs: the Natas Kaupas “Devil Worship” deck from 1991.
Originally illustrated by Marc McKee for 101 Skateboards, the Natas “Devil Worship” deck was released during the height of the “Satanic Panic” and quickly became one of the most infamous graphics in skateboard history. Banned in stores and wrapped in rumors, it became a symbol of both artistic rebellion and the cultural anxieties of its time.
The TMRWLND × Grady Gordon collaboration transforms that legacy into a contemporary artwork — equal parts tribute and reinvention. Gordon’s ghostly figures and hand-rendered textures reimagine the energy of the early 1990s through a spectral, painterly lens, balancing reverence and critique.
Each deck captures the liminal tension between the natural and the supernatural, the sacred and the profane — themes that have long shaped Gordon’s art and TMRWLND’s visual language alike.
